They might be over-rated. They might also be considered the biggest "scenesters" to come out of England this year. Despite this, I have a fondness for The Big Pink. Besides being a great live act, I've found their debut album, A Brief History of Love to be one of my top albums this fall, if not for the year.
Recently, during a BBC Live Lounge session, they covered Beyonce's "Sweet Dreams". Turning this pop hit into a dark, moody, alt. tune.....I really like it. Hope you do as well.
