The Manics sold out at King Tut's

Friday, 29 January 2010

On 18 February, The Manic Street Preachers are set to play a "secret" gig at Glasgow's King Tut's Wah Wah Hut. Tickets went on sale at 9am on Wednesday and sold out in seconds (literally. I went in at 9:00:02 and all the tickets were gone). For the 300 people who got tickets, you're very lucky! For those who missed out, people are selling them on ebay for the average price of £125 per ticket. Yikes. At times like these, I really wish there was a more ethical way for fans to get tickets without people who don't care about the band trying to make quick money off of die-hard fans.

But anyway - this post is really just an excuse to share my favourite Manics' videos and tracks.
