Lately I've been loving the latest single from Manchester band, The Courteeners. John Kennedy on XFM London has been playing it quite a bit and Liam Fray (the lead singer) graces the cover of this week's NME. Obviously, their popularity is increasing by the day. I love this song because it reminds me of Pulp and Franz Ferdinand at the same time, except less "arty" than the latter. Simply put, it's a fantastic indie pop track. I expect that we'll be hearing much more of them throughout 2010.
